Top of the World Highway in our Expedition Truck

The road from the Canadian border to Dawson City YT has some of the most incredible views ... Absolutely epic, the gravel roads are on mountain ridges giving you 260 views of the tundra.. Just WOW!!!

On to Dawson City

The TOTW Highway brings you to Dawson City, est. 1896 during the gold rush, but first you have to get there by getting on a semi-sketchy ferry

We wound up staying only a night due to a internet problem in Dawson... No internet means no ATM work, no paying by credit card... no cash on us = no gas, no restaurants, no groceries... no nothing lol.

We decided not to do the Dempster highway up to the Arctic Circle, forecast for the next few days was fog and rain. We met a German couple who just returned, they drove 900 km to TUK in the fog, waited 3 days to get the chance to see the Arctic Ocean and drove back 900 km in the fog and rain... no thanks!

Back down to Whitehorse to drop off Thomas and we head to British Columbia to see the coast.

Carcross Desert, yes there's a desert in Canada, was a little timid to go at it alone + it was raining so we just went in about a 100 meters.

Next stop, Stewart BC / Haines AK to see some wildlife (not!) and check out the Salmon Glacier. We spent 3 days days near the summit of the glacier and hiked, chilled out and made new friends @kamiontravel who have been travelling for 4 years in their Unicat expedition truck and we hope to meet back up with them in January in Baja.

Next stop, Canada's largest Lava fields, Lava lake for a little SUP,ing & Prince Rupert to catch a ferry to Vancouver Island.

See you in Vancouver Island!
