When will the Alaska Highway reopen?

The Muncho Lake NP was something else... but time to move on and check out the Liard Hot Springs, which is as far as we can go until the road re-opens.

What is there to do in Liard other than soak in the hot springs? There's some wildlife to check out and the big attraction is getting bitten by a million mosquitoes as soon as you walk outside! Welcome to Northern Canada

The next morning we're told that the road is about to open, super happy... to find out that 20km later we're told be patient some more... Recap vid in french 👇

Through Watson Post Forest and onto Whitehorse Yukon

Whitehorse is the pit stop for overlanders heading to Alaska or Northern Yukon, we met some nice people and plan to see them again in Baja during the winter. And of course, troubleshooting some new issues popping up. Special mention to #simardsuspensions for helping me get back on the road.

Alaska here we come

Up to Anchorage, on to Seaward for a day cruise, hiking Exit Glacier & Harding ice field... Denali NP and around to chicken AK for a quick stop & lunch before re-entering Canada.

Time to head back into Canada, Top of the World Highway awaits.
